Legislators and Pro-Life Advocates to Address Marchers in Harrisburg, PA on October 16th 

HARRISBURG, PA – Today, the March for Life, partnered with the Pennsylvania Family Institute, announced speakers for the third official Pennsylvania March for Life which will take place on Monday October 16th in Harrisburg, PA. Marchers will gather at the State Capitol building to peacefully advocate for pro-life protections for women and the unborn. They will be addressed by speakers including David Bereit, Founder of 40 Days for Life, Dr. Kendra Kolb, Neonatologist & Pro-Life Advocate; Pastor Jay & Tiffany Gilbert Founders, Voices For The Unborn Pregnancy Center; Dawn Fitzpatrick, Executive Director, March for Life; Michael Geer, President, PA Family Institute; Senator Kristin Phillips Hill, Senate District 28; Representative Josh Kail & Family, District 15; and Jill Hartman, Executive Director, Pennsylvania Pregnancy Wellness Collaborative (PPWC).

The Pennsylvania March for Life will start with a prayer and praise pre-rally at 10:00 a.m. at the State Capitol building in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania followed by a rally at 11:00 a.m. EST and the March at 12:00 p.m. EST.

Wade, Marchers will gather at the front steps of the State Capitol Building in Harrisburg to celebrate their ability to protect the unborn through legislation passed by their elected state representatives. Notable guests and speakers will include: Jeanne Mancini, President of the March for Life; Michael Geer, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Family Institute; Ann McElhinney, Producer and Co-Writer of the film “Gosnell- The Untold Story of America’s Biggest Serial Killer” and author of the corresponding book; Pennsylvania State Senate Majority Leader Kim Ward; Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Bryan Cutler; Dr. Monique Ruberu, pro-life OBGYN; Kathy Barnette, U.S. Veteran, author, and former Senate Candidate; Amy Scheuring, Executive Director of Women’s Choice Network; Pennsylvania State Senator Judy Ward; the Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, Archbishop of Philadelphia; and Pastor Charles Stock of Life Center Ministries.

First-ever official Pennsylvania March for Life in Harrisburg September 27

HARRISBURG, PA – March for Life, partnered with the Pennsylvania Family Institute, will host the first ever official Pennsylvania March for Life on Monday, September 27, 2021, in Harrisburg, PA. The event will take place on the Pennsylvania House of Representative’s first day back in session when marchers will rally at the front steps of the state capitol to call on legislators to protect unborn children. It will feature a compelling lineup of renown national and local pro-life leaders.

“We are proud to host this first-ever Pennsylvania March for Life and to be joined by so many remarkable pro-life leaders who in their own ways work daily to build a culture of life. We hope this event will energize the people of Pennsylvania to help shape local policies that respect the rights of the unborn,”  said Jeanne Mancini, President of March for Life Defense and Education Fund.

“Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court abortion decision, well over two million unborn babies have lost their lives to abortion in Pennsylvania alone,” said Michael Geer, president of Pennsylvania Family Institute. “Every day in our commonwealth, the lives of over 80 unborn babies are taken through abortion. And that’s why we march. It’s time for this to end.”
