There are many events happening around Washington, D.C. surrounding the March for Life.  These events are not sponsored by the March for Life, but we wanted to make you aware of them during your trip to the Nation’s Capital.

National Prayer Vigil for Life

National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Washington, D.C.

The vigil schedule includes the Opening Mass celebrated in the Great Upper Church. Prayer continues throughout the night with the National Rosary for Life, Night Prayer and Holy Hours for Life. The following morning, the prayer vigil concludes with Morning Prayer, Benediction and the Closing Mass the next morning (7:30 am)

Uniendo nuestras voces

Harris Theatre on the campus of George Mason University

Uniendo nuestras voces is a rally in Spanish for the purpose of inviting Latinos into further integration into the pro-life movement. It will include talks by Alejandro Bermudez, renowned journalist from EWTN, and Aurora Tinajero, Director of Spanish Ministry at the Catholic Pro-Life Committee of North Texas, Inc. The rally will also include a concert by the Joan Sanchez & Rio Poderoso band.

    National Memorial for the Preborn and their Mothers and Fathers – Priests for Life

      On January 22, 2014 our nation will remember the 41st anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

      Since that tragic decision, more than 55 million children’s lives have been lost to abortion, and the lives of millions of their parents have been shattered.

      In prayerful recognition, “Nine Days of Prayer, Penance and Pilgrimage” will take place January 18-26, 2014.
