“We are thrilled to have Kellyanne Conway speak at this year’s March for Life. As the first female to run a successful presidential campaign and as a steadfast advocate for life and family issues, Kellyanne beautifully embodies the 2017 March for Life’s theme, ‘The Power of One’,” says Jeanne Mancini, President of March for Life.

Why the 27th?

The 2017 March for Life will be held on Friday, January 27th.

The Presidential Inauguration, will be held on Friday, January 20th. As in previous Inauguration years, the National Park Service (NPS) assigned the next day possible for the March for Life. We work very closely with the NPS to ensure that we have safety precautions and facility requirements met.

While advocating for the most precious cause of life is the goal of the March for Life, the safety of all participants is of utmost concern, and we are grateful for the cooperation and assistance of the NPS, Capitol Police, Metro Police, Supreme Court Police, etc.

We are not familiar with the permit status of any other events around the Inauguration or the March for Life.

March for Life Statement on Planned Parenthood’s Election Reaction

Jeanne Mancini’s statement on Planned Parenthood’s reaction to election results —

“Abortion proponents are working passionately to assure that taxpayers will continue to pay for abortion via the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood.  They are clearly not understanding or listening to the American people who have a consensus on life issues.

Planned Parenthood annually performs over 320,000 abortions a year subsidized by taxpayers. The non-profit spent $30 million to help abortion advocates run for office.  They did not win a race. The American people rejected the radical, abortion until birth position, as they have consistently done.  Eight out of ten Americans agree that abortion should be limited to – at most – to the first three months of pregnancy. The American people also overwhelmingly reject taxpayer funding of abortion.”

Jeanne Mancini Op-Ed in the Hill

Abortion lobby lost big this election — life is a winning issue

The American people resoundingly rejected the abortion lobby in Tuesday’s historic election.

Hillary Clinton’s radical stance on abortion may have been one of the leading causes for her election loss — and the cause of the political demise of many others with similar alignments. Google listed abortion as one of the top issues searched on Election Day — and in fact, Google revealed that abortion was the top search affiliated with Hillary Clinton.

Abortion was clearly a critical issue this election cycle and the American people strongly voted for life.
