Pro-life Advocates to Address Marchers in Columbus on October 4th, 2024 

COLUMBUS, OH – Today the March for Life Education and Defense Fund, partnered with the Center for Christian Virtue announced speakers for the third annual Ohio March for Life, occurring on Friday, October 4th. Marchers will gather at the Ohio Statehouse to peacefully advocate for pro-life protections in state laws. Notable speakers for the pre-march rally include: Margaret Hartshorn, Ph.D., Chairman of the Board of Heartbeat International; Senator Michele Reynolds, Ohio Senate, District 3; Aaron Baer, President of the Center for Christian Virtue; the Most Reverend Bishop Robert M. Pipta, Bishop of the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Parma; Pastor Walter Moss, President of Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio; Erin P. Getz, Director of State March Program at the March for Life Education and Defense Fund.

One year ago, Ohioans passed a devastating constitutional amendment which will have a negative impact on the unborn in Ohio for generations. But the pro-life movement has grown even stronger in our resolve to defend life and help expectant mothers through our support of life-affirming legislation and critical resources like pregnancy resource centers. Together with the Center for Christian Virtue, we are ready to welcome thousands of Ohioans to the State Capitol to peacefully advocate for the protection of the unborn and the support for expectant mothers.” said Jeanne Mancini, President, March for Life Education & Defense Fund.

The Ohio March for Life on Friday, October 4th, 2024, will start with a rally at the Statehouse building at 11:00AM ET followed by the march at 12:00PM ET.

Marchers will gather at the Trenton Statehouse to peacefully advocate for pro-life protections in state laws. Notable speakers for the pre-march rally include Melissa Ohden, Founder and CEO of The Abortion Survivors Network; Felicia Pricenor, Esq., Vice President of Government Affairs of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund; Marie Tasy, Executive Director of New Jersey Right to Life; Senator Anthony M. Bucco, Republican Leader New Jersey Senate, District 25; Assemblyman John DiMaio, Minority Leader New Jersey General Assembly, District 23; Dr. Monique Ruberu, OB/GYN, Board Member of 40 Days for Life and more.
