Richmond, VA: Today Virginians from across the Commonwealth will gather in Richmond for the 8th Annual Virginia March for Life — and the stakes have never been higher.

With a proposed constitutional amendment that would enshrine abortion without limits or safeguards on the November ballot, this march arrives at a defining moment. Thousands of Virginians — students, faith leaders, physicians, advocates, and lawmakers — will gather to send an unmistakable message: life is worth fighting for, and Virginians stand with women and children.

“What happens in November will shape the future of Virginia. Should this amendment pass, abortion extremism with no guardrails will endanger pregnant women, undermine the family, and remove all accountability for a profit-driven industry that has a bad record when it comes to actually caring for women,” said Jennie Bradley Lichter, President of March for Life. “I am looking forward to standing with a diverse coalition of Virginians next month in Richmond who will make their voices heard on this critically important issue.”
“The April 22 March is the most important statewide stand for life our Commonwealth has ever faced, and may ever face again,” added Victoria Cobb, President of The Family Foundation of Virginia. “Virginians know what is at stake for unborn children, women’s safety, and parental rights, and they are rising together to say no to enshrining abortion without limits or safeguards in our Constitution.”
