At her confirmation hearings, Judge Barrett showed the American people why she will make an exceptional addition to the Supreme Court. Her vast understanding and knowledge of the law, and her wealth of personal experiences – as Supreme Court clerk, law professor, mentor, wife, mother, woman of faith, attorney in private practice, judge – are part of why she is the phenomenal jurist she is today. Judge Barrett also possesses the temperament needed for the bench, made obvious as she answered questions from each member of the Senate Judiciary Committee with graciousness and calm.
