The government has no business forcing these centers to violate their first amendment right to free speech and, in doing so, work against their life-affirming mission. We applaud the Supreme Court for preserving these centers’ free speech right and allowing them to continue offering such comprehensive and critical support to women in need, including providing over 100 million in free services (child care, clothing, diapers, transportation, etc.) annually.”

Senators, use your cancelled summer recess to pass pro-life bills

“The longer Congress stays out of session this year the more likely harmful pro-abortion policies will remain in effect. For this reason, March for Life Action supports Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s (R-Ky.) embrace of Senator Purdue’s (R-Ga.) call to cancel summer recess.“

The March for Life applauds HHS Secretary Azar and the Trump administration for protecting taxpayers from funding abortion through Title X. For ten years strong Marist polling indicates that the majority of Americans do not want their taxpayer dollars subsidizing abortion companies. Meanwhile, not one dime of Title X funds will be cut and the low income women, who those funds are intended to help, will receive authentic health care at federally qualified health centers (FQHC) which outnumber abortion centers 20:1. At FQHC, women benefit from better regulatory oversight, a wider range of services, and more options.
